Arrival, Moonlight, and Manchester By The Sea, three of the most recent films I’ve posted reviews for over in MEviews are racking up nominations and awards. Arrival is AFI’s Film of the Year. Manchester by the Sea and Moonlight overwhelmed the SAG nominations this morning. (Don’t think that makes up for some of the snubs that have already taken place. I’m looking at you, Golden Globes. Yeah! Nothing for Dory or Jake Gyllenhaal?) Maybe, just maybe, going by the awards so far no one out there is dreaming of a white Oscars. Then again, with President-Elect Gerber’s Sweet Potato…
